Data Management International (DAMA)
DAMA International is a not-for-profit, vendor-independent association of technical and business professionals dedicated to advancing the concepts and practices of information resource management (IRM) and data resource management (DRM). DAMA International’s primary purpose is to promote the understanding, development and practice of managing information and data as a key enterprise asset.
Data Transparency Coalition
The Data Transparency Coalition is the only trade association that advocates data reform for the U.S. government. The Coalition brings together companies, nonprofit organizations, and individuals to support policies that require federal agencies to publish their data online, using standardized, machine-readable, nonproprietary identifiers and markup languages.

The Enterprise Data Management Council (EDMC)
The EDM Council is a neutral business forum founded by the financial industry to elevate the practice of data management as a business and operational priority. The prime directive is to ensure that users have trust and confidence that data is precisely what is expected without the need for manual recalculation or multiple data transformations.

Object Management Group (OMG)
The Object Management Group (OMG®) is an international, open membership, not-for-profit computer industry standards consortium. Founded in 1989, OMG standards are driven by vendors, end-users, academic institutions and government agencies. OMG Task Forces develop enterprise integration standards for a wide range of technologies and an even wider range of industries. OMG’s modeling standards, including the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model Driven Architecture (MDA), enable powerful visual design, execution and maintenance of software and other processes.
