Adaptive Metadata Manager™
(MM)
Adaptive Metadata Manager (MM) is a web-based repository
that is designed for use in metadata management and provides the capability
to capture the data definitions from data modeling tools, relational
databases, XML Schemas, COBOL copybooks, and other sources, and the
detail of the transformations that occurred – for example loaded
from definitions in extract-transform-load (ETL) tools. The metadata
captured from all these sources is managed in a role-based environment
that provides each metadata role (data modeler, report developer,
business user, data steward …) with exactly the capabilities
and access privileges that are appropriate for their needs. Adaptive
MM facilitates governance, compliance and transparency of the metadata
management process. It is used to:
- Manage a large amount of disparate technical and business metadata,
providing different end-to-end views to a variety of user roles
- Collaborate on updating and managing the information, facilitate
re-use, and manage change, especially through future planning of
different scenarios and timescales
- Construct end-to-end visualizations of the information flows from
any point (e.g. origin, final report, any intermediate point), in
a form suitable for both business and technical users
Adaptive Enterprise
Architecture Manager™ (EAM)
Adaptive Enterprise Architecture Manager supports those
involved in defining overarching strategies and architectures for
an enterprise. While applicable to all complex organizations, this
Adaptation is aimed particularly at US Federal Government agencies,
all of whom are now mandated by legislation to develop comprehensive
“enterprise architectures” that show how proposed changes
to processes and resources support the delivery of government programs.
Working with The Office of Management and Budget within the Executive
Office of the US President, Adaptive has been actively involved in
influencing the standards being defined for the Federal Enterprise
Architecture Framework (FEAF). The Adaptive Reference Model™,
describing the structure of enterprise knowledge, is becoming a de
facto standard for defining Federal Enterprise Architectures. Customers
are using EAM to:
- Develop current state and future state Enterprise Architectures,
to be used as the foundation for aligned, synchronized and coordinated
business transformation
- Define and implement effective enterprise-wide performance scorecards
Adaptive IT Portfolio Manager™
(ITPM)
The Adaptive IT Portfolio Manager solution is used to
ensure that an organization knows what its IT assets are, how they
support the business, where they are located, what the cost of ownership
is, and that investments in new assets or changes to existing assets
align with business objectives, priorities and budgets. Adaptive’s
Fast Start program provides a 90-day startup for ITPM customers. This
speed in deployment is a breakthrough in the IT industry. Through
the use of ITPM, our customers have been able to

Adaptive Project Portfolio
Manager™ (PPM)
Adaptive Project Portfolio Manager (PPM) goes beyond
just managing budgets, resources and inter-dependencies to focus on
managing the context and content of the portfolio: fit with the organization
strategy, compliance with its Enterprise Architecture and control
of the overall business case.

Adaptive Designer™
Adaptive Designer provides a collection of tools
used by Adaptive to develop its products. Adaptive Designer licences
can be optionally purchased to enable customization of Adaptive’s
products according to the specific needs of your organization.
Using these tools, it is possible to further expose
the comprehensive reference model provided as part of Adaptive’s
products, or the classes, attributes and relationships held in Meta
Model extensions introduced by your organization.
Adaptive
Reporting Suite ™
Adaptive Reporting Suite provides a complementary
set of reporting and analytical capabilities for Adaptive products,
to drive additional value from enterprise metadata and complex data
interrelationships, while also extending report and analysis development
to SQL compliant tools and technologies. This capability allows organizations
to retain and leverage existing investments in their reporting tools,
resources and processes.
- Adaptive Relational Access Module™ (RAM) extracts
information from Adaptive Repository™ and populates a set
of relational tables directly accessible from the Adaptive RAM web-based
user interface or other Adaptive Reporting Suite modules. Adaptive
RAM consists of relational structures, reports, and a web-based
user and management interface providing ongoing report lifecycle
management and development. Adaptive RAM is fully integrated with
Microsoft® Excel, providing the ability to further process report
results (filtering, sorting, etc.) and export for distribution,
report consolidation, charting or pivot table analysis
- Adaptive Dashboards™ further complements Adaptive
RAM by allowing users to view and create dashboards taking advantage
of sophisticated charting and graphing capabilities. Adaptive Dashboards
provides chart linking and pivot drill downs highlighting data relationships
and data correlations
- Adaptive Accelerators™ consists of packaged
rules and reports which provide insight into risk, gaps and opportunities.
Adaptive Accelerators can also be used to assist with jumpstarting
specific query and analytical development and serve as the foundation
where customers can extend rules and reports for their own unique
requirements
Adaptive Reporting Suite represents the next generation
of reporting capabilities from Adaptive enabling the ability to quickly
visualize and analyze complex information – from multiple perspectives
– to optimize decision making. Adaptive Reporting Suite provides
the delivery and reporting framework to interactively and dynamically
filter and display the relevant and timely information needed to drive
better business decisions through increased visibility.
