Adaptive Appoints Max Gano as Vice President and
General Manager of Information Delivery
Addition of Metadata and Governance Expert
Establishes New Directions for Adaptive Offerings

- Adaptive, Inc. a leading provider of Metadata Repository solutions,
has hired Max Gano as Vice President and General Manager of Information
Delivery Services. As part of his initial responsibilities, Mr. Gano
will spearhead the framework and organization for managing Adaptive
product requirements, marketing, packaging, delivery, and quality
assurance for Metadata offerings.
Mr. Gano also will help support Adaptive in understanding
requirements and opportunity areas for interoperability with best
of breed third-party technologies. As part of this effort, he will
participate in industry standards bodies representing Adaptive such
as Object Management Group, to help fuel Adaptive’s commitment
to an open architecture.

Mr. Gano has over 15 years of experience in data and
information management, most recently serving at Washington Mutual
as Vice President of Data Architecture for the Information Management
Governance program. He was a member of the core leadership team delivering
a two-year Data Management Program, establishing one of the financial
industry’s most mature platforms of capabilities and processes
in support of enterprise information management.
Mr. Gano also has participated in a number of successful
Northwest startups which, according to Goins, suits him for the dynamic
growth envisioned for Adaptive in the coming months.
