Jeff
Goins
President & CEO |
A native of Richmond,
Virginia, Jeff holds a Bachelors degree in Finance and Business
Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. In his
twenty year career in the technology industry, he has led companies
to a high level of success in developing quality software solutions
resulting in millions of dollars in revenue.
Jeff was a co-founder of Business Analysis International,
a company which combined leading methodologies with enabling
toolkits aimed at helping organizations manage complex change
initiatives. He was instrumental in completing the acquisition
and merger of Adaptive which provided the underlying technology
needed to effectively monitor and manage compliance and governance
processes throughout the enterprise.
Jeff has been responsible for developing alliances
with such firms as Unisys, IBM, and Capgemini. He has a vast
network of alliances around the world and continues to be a
thought leader in acquiring and packaging technologies which
meet key needs in the compliance, governance, and risk analysis
markets. |

| Joe
Stefaniak
VP North American Operations |
Joe has over 25 years experience
in the software industry enabling companies to achieve their
strategic vision through enterprise-class software implementations.
Prior to joining Adaptive, Joe was responsible for leading product
development at Unisys Corporation with specific emphasis on
Enterprise Repositories, Business Rules Management and IT Asset
Management. Joe holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science
from West Chester University and an MBA from California Lutheran
University.
Joe has worked in software development, consulting,
services and product management roles and has extensive experience
in business-driven IT transformation, enterprise architecture,
meta modeling, business process, methodologies and object-oriented
technologies.
Joe holds 15 United States patents and is a frequent
speaker at industry conferences and a published author. |

Pete
Rivett
Chief Technology Officer |
Pete graduated from Manchester
University (England), with a First Class BSc. Honours degree
in Computing and Information Systems. During a ten year period
at ICL, he worked in a variety of leading-edge product development
roles culminating in Chief Architect for their Repository program.
With meta-CASE company Virtual Software
Factory, and then N&P Building Society, he pioneered the
use of repository technology for business metadata management.
This laid the groundwork for Adaptive, which he co-founded in
1997. At Adaptive he leads the technology strategy and works
on leading-edge customer projects. He is active in the OMG where
he serves on the Architecture Board, co-chairs the Revision
Task Forces for UML 2.0 and MOF, is technical lead for the Information
Management Metamodel and has participated in most other modeling
standards. Beyond OMG he is a frequent conference speaker and
has coordinated Adaptive’s involvement in the European
Union-funded research projects COMBINE (COMponent-Based INteroperable
Enterprise System Development), ModelWare and ModelPlex. |

Cerrato
Chief Product Evangelist |
James has a Bachelor’s
in Computer Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
James has more than twenty years experience working for leading
edge software companies enabling the company’s strategic
vision to be realized in world-class software implementations.
He has worked in software development, consulting and product
management roles and has extensive expertise in object-oriented
technology, meta-modeling and enterprise architecture.
At Adaptive, James is responsible for presenting
and demonstrating Adaptive products and works directly with
strategic partners. He plays a significant role in defining
product strategy, including the product requirements from prospects
and customers. James manages Adaptive's relations with industry
analysts and leads Adaptive’s technical response to RFPs
and RFIs
Prior to working for Adaptive, James co-founded
a leading enterprise architecture modeling tool vendor and served
as Chief Product Officer and Principal Consultant. During this
time he guided the successful development and release of a suite
of products including enterprise architecture modeling tools
and web portals. As part of the core team, he helped guide this
company from startup to recognition by Deloitte and Touche as
one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in New England.
In his role as representative to the Object Management Group
(OMG), James participated in the OMG Object Analysis and Design
task force that developed the Unified Modeling Language (UML).
In addition to his involvement with the OMG, James speaks frequently
at conferences. |
